Application procedure

The web based application on universityadmissions.se is now closed.

1. Create a user account

The application for Stockholm Summer School is web based so in order to apply you are first required to create a user account on universityadmissions.se. This is then used to log in to the application form.

International applicants use their email address to create an account and this also becomes the username. It is important that the email address used is current as this is where the Notification of Selection results will be sent to.

2. Search for courses

Once you have created your user account you can use the free text box to find the course you wish to apply for. You can use either the name of the course, the course code or enter 'Stockholm Summerschool'. You can also use the direct links in the course descriptions.

When you have found the course you wish to apply for, simply click on the 'To application' button and follow the steps to complete the application.

Please note that the courses are full-time study and you can only be admitted to one course.

3. Application fee

Applicants from outside the EU/EEA area and Switzerland are required to pay an application fee of 900 SEK. Please note that the payment must be received by University Studies in Sweden by 15 March, 2012, in order for your application to be processed.

Paying your application fee

If you have citizenship in a EU/EEA country, or Switzerland, you are not required to pay application or tuition fees. You are, however, required to provide proof of your citizenship in order for your admissions application to be processed.

4. Cover sheet

Once you have submitted the online application you will gain access to the cover sheet. This should be printed, signed and sent by post to University Studies in Sweden together with the supporting documents, please see below.

If you cannot print the cover sheet straight away, you will be able to access and print it later via 'My pages'. The sheet contains your personal data and is essential for matching the actual documents with your application.

5. Supporting documents

In order for the application to be complete a number of documents should be sent to University Studies in Sweden, please see Documentation and Admission requirements for further details.

6. Complete application

The application package should then be sent to the address given on the cover sheet. Please note that neither University Studies in Sweden nor any of the participating universities accept any documents by email or fax. Once your documents have been received and registered to your account by University Studies in Sweden, the date will be shown on your account under 'Applications'.
